 What is an easy weight loss program?

It seems that every weight loss commercial or ad that I see contains the words fast and easy.

A fast weight loss program is pretty easily defined but what exactly does an easy weight loss program consist of?

I saw an acquaintance today that has recently lost 20 pounds. I made the comment that he looked like he was melting. When I asked him how he had done it he replied; “Easy – I just cut back my portions”.

What was easy for him may be a diet nightmare for someone else. How can you find an easy weight loss program for yourself? The answer is to ask some questions of your self. What do you find hard about a weight loss program?

Is counting calories difficult for you? Then an easy weight loss program for you might be one that clearly explains what to eat, when to eat it, and how much of it to eat. This may require you to hire a dietician or explore some products like nutrisystem. Nutrisystem has prepackaged meals that can be delivered right to your door.

Is eating smaller portions difficult for you? Then an easy weight loss program for you might be one that includes many fruits and vegetables to go along with your entrees.

Is constant hunger a problem for you? Then an easy weight loss program for you might be one that involves eating small, nutritious meals every three hours. This type of diet was made popular by bodybuilders getting lean for contests.

Is time a problem for you? Then an easy weight loss program for you might be one that uses meal replacement diet shakes or meal replacement bars as substitutions for some of your meals. Meal replacement bars or shakes are very portable and can be consumed most anywhere.

Are you starting to get the point? Don’t let a commercial or ad convince you that their product is an easy weight loss program before putting it through your test.

Ask yourself the difficult questions before spending your hard earned money or going on another diet only to quit because you find it too difficult. You can find an easy weight loss program for yourself – you just need to know what you are looking for.
