Urban Rebound Exercise

If you watch much TV at all – you have undoubtedly seen the urban rebound system advertised or have watched someone performing urban rebound exercise.

Urban rebound exercise is gaining popularity in gyms as a group exercise but is also gaining popularity as an exercise that can be performed in your home.

When performing the urban rebound exercise you jump a few inches off of the surface of the rebounder – this gives you less impact but with the same aerobic benefits as traditional aerobic routines.

You can perform the urban rebound system with or without shoes and I am told that it is quiet enough that it will not disturb your neighbors if you live in an apartment. Urban rebound exercise may be perfect for people who may need to avoid high impact activities such as running or other impact aerobics.

Studies suggest that the urban rebound system will burn calories at a rate equivalent to working on a treadmill.

The bottom line is that urban rebound exercise may be a great way for you to get in shape and burn calories. I believe that if you find an exercise enjoyable, you will continue to do it consistently, therefore you will reap the most rewards. If the urban rebound system sounds like something you will enjoy doing consistently – then it may certainly be worth your while to purchase it and incorporate it into your weight loss and fitness routine.

The urban rebound system is certainly affordable and there are currently a variety of videos available to keep you from getting bored. If you are more interested in participating in a group urban rebound class – then call your local gyms and see if they offer it. If they don’t offer it – encourage others to request it. Gyms will normally incorporate fitness trends into their classes.
