The negative calorie diet is based upon
the idea that certain foods require more calories to digest
than they actually contain. Therefore they are termed
negative calorie foods.
Little to no scientific evidence exists
that would prove that negative calorie foods exist but that
does not mean there is not any value in the negative calorie
diet. The negative calorie diet will usually have you eating
a variety of healthy foods such as fresh fruits and
vegetables.
You can probably find stories of many
people who have lost weight on the negative calorie diet –
but have they lost weight because of the “lower calorie”
selections they are making on the negative calorie diet – or
– because the foods they are eating require more calories to
burn than they contain?
The above questions about the negative
calorie diet would be hard to answer. Perhaps there will be
some research in the future that will clear up the negative
calorie diet controversy.
So the cons are that there is no
scientific evidence and the pros are that you will be eating
healthy fresh foods such as grapefruit, asparagus, and
watermelon just to name a few.
It is hard to find much mainstream
information on the negative calorie diet. We have found an
e-book that contains over 100 different negative calorie
foods and over 80 pages of text in support of the negative
calorie diet. It comes with a 90 day money back guarantee so
I feel OK about posting a link to it here.
