Herbal diet products
Herbal diet products is
a broad term that I have heard used for everything from
vitamins to weight loss creams.
I think that most people
use the term "herbal diet products" to collectively describe
anything that is not prescription in nature.
Here are some examples
of herbal diet products:
 |
Ephedra: Is a powerful
stimulant that has been said to speed up the metabolism and
decrease appetite.
|
 |
Carb Blockers:
Phaseolamin or white kidney bean extract has been said to
help prevent some excess carbs from being converted into
fat.
|
 |
Fat Blockers: Chitosan
binds fat. The theory is that chitosan will bind the fat
before your body has a chance to absorb it thereby allowing
it to pass through.
|
 |
Appetite suppressants:
Hoodia Gordonii was used by tribesman before going on long
hunts. Legend has it that they would not eat for long
periods of time and the hoodia helped them control their
appetite. The claim is that hoodia sends a signal to the
brain that the stomach is full.
|
 |
Fat loss creams: Usually
contain Yohimbe and claim to penetrate deep into the skin
and dissolve fat.
|
The internet is
overloaded with examples of herbal diet products that make
amazing claims. A company that we have discovered to be
highly respectable and honest is evitamins.com. Check out
