Acid Alkaline Diet

Perhaps you have been considering an alkaline diet and are wondering what some of the positive effects of an alkaline diet are.

Perhaps you are not sure exactly what an alkaline diet is. Either way – here is some basic alkaline diet information and a resource for a good acid alkaline diet e-book.

Basically, what proponents of an alkaline diet say is that because our bodies are slightly alkaline then it makes sense that our diet should be slightly alkaline as well.

Believers in the benefits of an alkaline diet say that acidic foods such as processed foods, caffeine, and sugar are highly acidic and can lead to disease in the body. They say that some of the signs of high acidity in the body are low energy, joint pain or arthritis, headaches, nasal congestion, and a host of others.

If you decide to follow an alkaline diet you can count on eating plenty of vegetables, fruits, herbal teas, yogurt, almonds, and chicken among many other foods and staying away from foods such as processed foods, alcohol, and beans.

We have found two really good resources for learning more about the benefits of an alkaline diet. One of them is a book “The Acid Alkaline Diet” by Christopher Vasey. This book comes with good reviews on Amazon. You can purchase it from the link on the bottom of the page.

The other resource is an e-book that comes with an acidity test and recipes for eating more alkaline. The author of this particular e-book also discusses weight loss along with all of the other benefits of an alkaline diet. You can find it here: Click Here!
