MBT Shoes for Fitness and weight loss

What is all the buzz about MBT shoes and can they help you get in shape and lose weight?

MBT stands for Masai Barefoot Technology which is a health and fitness concept inspired by the Masai tribe.

The concept in a nutshell is that by wearing these shoes; hard, flat surfaces like the ones we walk on every day are transformed into natural, uneven ground. Think of it like walking in the sand.

Makers of MBT shoes state that these shoes and the Masai Barefoot Technology reestablish the natural conditions for standing and walking. But will they help you get in shape?

Users of MBT shoes rave about how much they look forward to walking and wearing their new shoes. Some users are claiming to have reduction in back, knee, and hip pain since wearing shoes equipped with Masai Barefoot Technology.

While I don’t think anyone would ever suggest that a shoe would get you in better shape and help you lose weight – there may be some benefits to MBT.

MBT shoes may be of fitness and weight loss benefit to you if:

Like some other MBT shoe users you start looking forward to your daily walks – you will walk more, get in better shape, and lose weight.

You experience decreased pain from wearing the shoes then you will more than likely walk more and get in better shape and lose weight.

I have not tried MBT shoes but I must admit that they sure do look tempting. Perhaps they will be on my future wish list. If you have tried Masai Barefoot Technology and would like to share your experience with our readers – Contact me. Our readers would love to hear from you.
