Getting Lean - What are the habits of
lean people?
The habits of lean
people and how they can help you achieve your ideal weight
Study those who are
successful if you want to achieve success – Can we use this
sage advice to help us in our weight loss efforts? I say
yes. Of course there are genetic limitations. You may eat
and exercise the exact same as someone else but you won't
get the exact results. Everyone is unique, but the healthy
habits of lean individuals will benefit you no matter. Of
course all of these habits may not be for you – check with
your doctor first.
So what are some of the
things that healthy, lean people do that are different?
Start watching those around you that seem to be healthy and
at an ideal weight and you will see some of their habits.
More than likely they don't do all of them listed here but
chances are they do some and they do them consistently.
 | Lean people walk. I
see them parking far away from the doors at malls, see
them walking at lunch, see them walking in the evenings.
Lean people enjoy getting the body moving and they walk
whenever they get a chance. |
 | Healthy people drink
water. When they are thirsty they drink water. They carry
water with them throughout their day. They quench their
thirst with water – not a drink chocked full of empty
calories. |
 | Lean people eat six
small meals a day. When lunch time rolls around they are
not thinking that lunch must last them 7 hours until
dinner. They eat portions that will satisfy their hunger
for 3 hours until their next healthy snack. |
 | Lean people exercise.
They belong to gyms, go to aerobics classes, ride bikes,
they keep the body moving. |
 | Lean people keep up
to date on healthy trends and eating habits. They read
about health and continue to learn what it takes to be at
an ideal weight. |
These are some of the
habits of the healthy and lean. See how many you can
incorporate into your life and you will be healthier,
leaner, and happier.
